ABOUT KEIL LARSON

For over 35 years, I have provided competent, economical legal services to individuals and small businesses in the Chicago area. I am honest and fair with my clients and promptly return their phone calls.

I focus on real estate litigation and real estate transactions.

Some of the matters that I have litigated are:
• condominium owners who have disputes with their Association,
• Noise nuisance complaints,
• owners obtaining judicial decrees invalidating forged deeds,
• partition lawsuits forcing the sale of real estate owned by two or more people,
• invalidating mechanic liens on their property,
• residential disclosure violations and fraud in selling a house.

For transactions, I have represented people in:
• buying and selling homes,
• buying and selling multi-unit apartment buildings, buying and selling businesses such as restaurants and bars,
• drafting commercial leases, mortgages, deeds, partnership agreements, limited liability company’s operating agreements, and the like.

Real Estate Litigation

Living in an urban environment literally one on top of another creates all sort of issues that I’ve become familiar with. The biggest is noise disturbance. You have the right to peace and quiet in your home. Unfortunately many Chicago residential building are poorly constructed as for silence.

Real Estate Transactions

Buying and Selling is buying or selling a piece of property. This is sometime called transactional work. In order to sell real estate, there must be a real estate contract signed by each party.
