I spoke at a National Business Institute national video seminar titled Top 10 Title Defects – Cured. I discussed how to cure missing probate estate information in the chain of title, how to cure judgment and other liens that appear in the record. This aired on October 14, 2014.
The Appellate Court reversed the trial court and found that the insured had an insurable interest in the house even though the court found that the transaction was an equitable mortgage.
